Getting started

1

Save your first thing

Open Recall and tap the + button, or share a link, post or screenshot into Recall from any other app using the Share Sheet. Recall accepts links, articles, videos, podcasts, images, documents and plain notes.

2

Let it process

Recall reads what you saved and adds a summary, key points and tags automatically. Most saves are ready in a few moments; anything that needs a closer look waits in your Inbox.

3

Find it again

Search your Library by keyword, or open the Ask tab and describe what you remember in plain language. Open any save to read its summary or chat with it.

Frequently asked questions

Does Recall need a subscription?
Yes — Recall is a paid app and using it requires an active subscription. New users may be offered a free trial; you'll see the available plans in the app before anything is charged. See the Terms of Use for full subscription details.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose Recall, and change your plan or turn off auto-renew there. Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Which platforms can I save from?
Anything with a link, plus deeper extraction for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, Reddit, LinkedIn, Substack, Facebook, Pinterest and podcasts. You can also save screenshots, images, plain notes and documents such as PDFs.
How does the AI work, and is my data private?
Recall sends the content you save to Anthropic's Claude to summarise it, tag it and make it searchable. Your library is never used to train AI models and is never sold. Read the full detail on our AI page and in the Privacy Policy.
Can I export my library?
Yes. In Profile → settings you can export your library as a CSV file, which is emailed to you. We recommend exporting before you delete your account.
Is there an Android or web version?
Recall is built for iPhone first. A web companion is on the roadmap; Android is being considered based on demand.
A save didn't process correctly — what do I do?
Some pages block automated reading, or a link may have expired. Open the save and try re-processing it. If it still doesn't work, email support@recall-app.ai with the link and we'll take a look.
